Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

Everything you ever wanted to know about our Shipping/Return and Customer Service policies but were afraid to ask.

We offer free shipping for orders that total $45 or more and are shipping to the lower 48 states.

We ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) Priority Mail. Shipping typically takes 3-5 business days depending on your location in the U.S.

Your order will ship within 2-3 business days after you receive your email order confirmation.

We can only ship to your credit cards billing address for security reasons.

If you’d like to ship to a different address you may need to call your credit card company and have them add an alternate address to your card.

We will make all efforts to ship your order within 2-3 business days (usually sooner) of order confirmation.

Orders placed on Saturday and Sundays will be processed and shipped the following Monday. Order processing time may slightly increase during holidays.

American Tradition charges sales tax for orders shipped to Texas.

Recipients of orders shipped to other states are responsible for complying with state and local tax laws.

We ship to the United States and Canada only. For orders shipping outside of the United States (International) please contact us before placing an order.

All payments are made in US Dollars. The order total does not include customs duties or international taxes. The customer is responsible for any non-US taxes or import duties which may be levied by local authorities. Please check your countries import and taxation policies before ordering.

There are 3 reasons for Returns:

  1. You ordered the Wrong Size. Not a problem, we completely understand, it’s Okay! We can get you a different size. =)
  2. We shipped the Wrong Item. (it’s rare but it can happen, we’ll fix it)
  3. Defective Item.

* All returns must be authorized.*

To receive authorization for a return (RMA), you will need to contact customer service at:

support@americantradition.us to obtain an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization).

All returns that are not exchanged for another item and are refunded are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Note, if you ordered the wrong size and need to exchange it you will be responsible for shipping both ways (to return the wrong size item and to have a new size shipped to you). If you have questions about sizing please see our sizing tab located below to get measurements and/or contact us. We want to make sure your happy and know what you are getting before you place your order.

Please note, we do not backorder. If the requested items are not in stock by the time we process your RMA, your credit card will be refunded for the value of the items returned to our warehouse to avoid further delay on your request. (in which case the 15% restocking fee will be waived)

* All items must be returned in a new, unworn, and unwashed condition. All original tags must still be attached. Also include the original invoice with the RMA# written on it.

* Please specify the reason for the return on the original invoice.

* If you were to receive a defective item, you must notify us within 5 business days of when you received the product to qualify for a return or exchange. If you fail to provide us with a prompt notification, we will not authorize your return or exchange.

Once you receive your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, you must than ship the item(s) back within the specified time period (14 business days) to receive an exchange or the RA# will become null and void. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

We do not refund shipping costs on returns and or exchanges, unless there was a processing error on our behalf. If such an error occurs we will refund up to $9.99 for return shipping.

Return authorizations must be requested within 3 weeks of the original ship date for all domestic orders, and within 1 month of the original ship date for Canadian orders.

Pack your item(s) in the original shipping box if possible and insure your package for the full value of merchandise and return it to us using the delivery service of your choice. Include your RMA# and original invoice. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return packages. We will notify you via e-mail once your return has been processed.
